Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Wash and dry the russet potatoes. Using a cutting board and a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into wedges.
  • Add the fries to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive or avocado oil over the potatoes and toss until evenly coated. Next, sprinkle on all of the spices and toss again to coat the fries evenly.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place each fry flesh side down in a row onto the sheet, preventing them from touching.
  • Add the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fries. Turn them when they have been in the oven for 30 minutes. The fries are done when they are crispy and golden brown on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
