Note that the ingredient amounts listed in the recipe are for 2 medium pizza crusts or 2 large flatbreads. If you are using smaller crusts or flatbreads, you can divide the ingredients between them to make smaller pizzas.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
If using pizza dough, roll out into a circle or oval that will fit on a baking sheet. Place the pizza dough or flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Drizzle the olive oil and sprinkle the minced garlic on top of the pizza. Use a pastry brush or the back of a spoon to spread it evenly. Sprinkle the sea salt evenly over the pizza.
Next, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheeses evenly over the pizza. Tear the fresh mozzarella and prosciutto into pieces and scatter them across the pizza.
Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and/or the crust begins to brown (please note this baking time may vary based on the type of dough or bread you use).
While the pizza is cooking, cut the blackberries in half lengthwise, slice the pear into thin slices, and chop the basil. Add them to the top of the pizza when removed from the oven. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Notes
We have used pizza dough to make a larger, family-sized pizza, but have also really enjoyed using these mini naan breads to make individual pizzas for a quick lunch option. Keep in mind that the ingredient amounts listed in the recipe are for one large pizza. If you are using smaller crusts or flatbreads, you can divide the ingredients between them to make smaller pizzas.
This recipe can be made gluten-free if using a gluten-free crust. It is not dairy-free or vegan. For a vegetarian version, simply leave off the prosciutto.
