1teaspoonkosher salt + more to taste after cooking
½teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
½teaspoonpaprika
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Wash and dry the russet potatoes. Using a cutting board and a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into thin wedges.
Add the cut potatoes to a large bowl. Drizzle the olive or avocado oil over the potatoes and toss until evenly coated. Next, sprinkle on all of the spices and toss again to coat the fries evenly.
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Place the fries onto the baking sheet and spread evenly into a single layer so that there is some space between the fries and they are not stacked on top of each other.
Add the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fries. Turn them halfway through the cooking time. The fries are done when they are crispy and golden brown on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
We recommend storing leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
These fries are best reheated in the oven or air fryer to freshen them up and bring back the crispiness.
