This hot honey BBQ chicken flatbread makes pizza night easy and delicious. Grab a few simple ingredients and use rotisserie chicken and you'll have a meal in less than 20 minutes.
4mini naan breads(or flatbread or crust of your choice)
½cupBBQ sauce of choice(plus additional to drizzle on top if desired)
½teaspoonminced garlic
2cupsshredded or chopped chicken breast
1cupmozzarella cheese
½cupsliced or diced red onion
¼cupchopped cilantro
Hot honey to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Lay each naan bread on the baking sheet. Use a spoon to spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce (about 2 tbsp) on the naan bread. Sprinkle a small amount of minced garlic or garlic powder on top.
Next, add ½ cup of chicken and spread out evenly. Sprinkle ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese. Add diced red onion on top. Repeat this process until all 4 naan breads are assembled.
Bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the bottom of the crust is crispy.
Sprinkle each flatbread with fresh cilantro and drizzle hot honey over top. Drizzle a little extra BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
Optional: If the bottom of your flatbreads are not crispy, place a medium frying pan on the stove over medium heat. Add a light spray of olive or avocado oil to the pan. Once the pan is hot, place the naan bread in the pan, toppings facing up. Let the bottom of the crust cook until golden brown and crispy, about 1 minute. Repeat this process for each flatbread.Make it gluten-free: use a gluten-free flatbread base. Make it dairy-free: use dairy-free cheese or omit it all together.
