This Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT takes typical BLT sandwiches to the next level with the addition of roasted turkey, avocado, red onion, and Sriracha aioli. It comes together quickly for a tasty lunch or dinner option with tons of flavor.
Start by preparing the Sriracha aioli. Measure out the mayo, Sriracha, minced garlic, and lime juice and place them into a small bowl. Mix with a fork until well combined. Set aside. This recipe will make a batch to use on multiple sandwiches. (If you’re not a fan of mayo, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice, a dash of sriracha, and salt to the mashed avocado in the later steps).
Next, prepare and cook the bacon using your method of preference (oven, air fryer, microwave, or stove top).
Toast the slices of bread and slice the tomatoes, avocado, red onion, and prepare the lettuce.
Assemble the sandwich. Spread the Sriracha aioli on one (or both) slices of bread depending on preference. Smash the avocado on one piece of bread and layer the turkey and bacon on top. On the other slice of bread layer the tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper and bring both sides together. Cut the sandwich in half. Enjoy!
Notes
If you aren't a big fan of mayo, know that the Sriracha, garlic, and lime juice help it to not taste too much like mayo. However, if you're still hesitant consider using an avocado oil or olive oil mayo such as this Chosen Foods mayo or simply add a fresh squeeze of lime and a dash of sriracha or salt to your mashed avocado.
