Ingredient Notes
- Peaches - This recipe is best with juicy, ripe, fresh peaches. Peach season is the best time of year! We love to find local peaches at our Farmer's Market. Canned peaches won't yield the same result. We recommend yellow peaches but white peaches will work as well.
- Brown sugar or coconut sugar - either will work great. The sugar caramelizes on top of the peach and is a great addition. You could also use a drizzle of pure maple syrup.
- Cinnamon - the cinnamon in this recipe makes it taste like peach crumble. Don't skip it!
- Optional toppings - we like to top these peaches with our favorite greek yogurt, granola, and honey. Greek yogurt provides a protein boost. You could also top the peach with a scoop of ice cream and graham cracker crumbs. Try it with our homemade coconut granola. We also love Purely Elizabeth granola. For a dairy-free option, try Siggis plant based yogurt.
