- This sandwich wrap is packed with fresh veggies and is customizable to your favorite ingredients.
- Another great thing about these turkey wraps is that they are extremely versatile. You can create a Mediterranean inspired wrap, a veggies lover wrap, etc.
Ingredient Notes
- Tortillas or wraps of choice - we recommend using large tortillas or wraps. You can choose a regular flour tortilla, whole wheat, spinach, or tomato wrap option. If you need a gluten-free option you could use brown-rice wraps.
- Hummus - original hummus is great on these wraps, but feel free to choose a different flavor of hummus if desired. There are a lot of store-bought hummus options out there such as Sabra Hummus, Kirkland Hummus, Joseph's Hummus, etc. but feel free to use homemade hummus as well.
- Sliced turkey breast - you can get this freshly sliced at the deli counter or buy pre-sliced turkey breast at the grocery store. We love Boar's Head turkey breast.
- Toppings of choice: some options include lettuce, baby spinach, bell peppers, red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, sprouts, pickles, banana peppers, hot sauce, dijon mustard, sliced cheese (such as cheddar or provolone cheese), feta cheese crumbles, etc.

Step by Step Directions
For the full recipe instructions, scroll down to the recipe card at the bottom of the page.
Lay a tortilla on the counter or a plate and spread hummus (~2 tbsp) down the center.
Next, add the slices of turkey breast.
Add any toppings of choice down the center of the tortilla (make sure to leave a little room on the outer edge of the wrap for easy folding).
Fold the bottom and top edges of the tortilla over until they meet in the middle. Rotate the tortilla 90 degrees and then roll up from the bottom. You can use a sharp knife to cut the wrap in half down the middle if desired.
Tips & Variations
- Feel free to use a different type of deli meat in place of the turkey. Ham, roast beef, or roasted chicken breast would all be great options.
- You can also make these into kid-friendly turkey hummus pinwheels. Simply use a sharp knife to cut across the wrap to make pieces that are about an inch thick.
- Try making a Greek turkey wrap with red pepper, creamy hummus, kalamata olives, and feta crumbles.
- You could also make a veggie wrap if you don't want to include meat. Simply stuff with options like red bell pepper, red onion, spinach, and pickles or banana peppers to give lots of great flavor.
- Make a turkey hummus sandwich with bread in place of the wrap if desired.
FAQ
We recommend making the wraps fresh, but you can make them before hand, wrap them in plastic wrap, and store them in the fridge. Note that there is a chance the tortilla could become slightly soggy with the hummus and some of the toppings, so just keep that in mind when assembling them (you can layer some of the ingredients that may be wet in between other ingredients. We would recommend consuming them within a couple of days for best results.Ā
We recommend storing all ingredients in a separate container.Ā
For gluten-free: simply use a gluten-free wrap.Ā
Make it dairy-free: choose dairy free toppings.
Make it vegetarian or vegan: omit the turkey (can replace with extra hummus if desired) and do not use cheese toppings.
