Why You’ll Love This Recipe
Homemade popsicles are so fun and easy to make and always taste much fresher than store-bought popsicles. The mixture for these mango pops comes together in minutes and then all you have to do is wait for them to freeze. These five-ingredient mango popsicles are a refreshing treat on a hot day. If you're a fan of the Outshine mango Tajín popsicles you can find at the store in the summer, you're going to love these.
Ingredient Notes
- Frozen or fresh mango - we love the fresh mango flavor in these delicious popsicles. You can use fresh mangoes or frozen mango chunks. If you use fresh mangoes, make sure you select ripe mangoes to optimize the best mango flavor.
- Coconut milk - we love the creamy, tropical flavor that coconut milk provides for these creamy mango popsicles. We typically use Silk unsweetened coconut milk, but canned coconut milk will work as well. If you don't have coconut milk, you can use another type of milk or a milk alternative such as almond milk. You could also use coconut water if you prefer an icy popsicle over a creamy popsicle.
- Honey or maple syrup - because we use sweet mangoes in this recipe, not much added sugar is needed. We love to use honey or maple syrup as a natural sweetener to add a little bit more sweetness to these easy mango popsicles.
- Lime juice - you will need the juice from a half a lime for this recipe. It adds the perfect level of tartness to contrast the sweet flavors. If you don't have lime juice on hand, you can swap for lemon juice but the end result will vary slightly in taste.
- Tajín seasoning - while this is an optional addition to the popsicles, the Tajín seasoning adds an amazing flavor to these homemade mango popsicles. Tajín originated in Mexico and is made of chili, lime, and salt. It's often served with fresh fruit such as mangoes, pineapple, and watermelon. If you haven't given it a try yet, it is delicious! You'll love tajin mango popsicles.

Tips & Variations
- Feel free to make this popsicle recipe your own. You can add greek yogurt, protein powder, spinach, berries, or an electrolyte mix. There are so many fun variations!
- If using frozen mango chunks, it can be helpful to let them thaw a little bit before blending to help ensure a smooth mixture.
- If you are having a hard time removing the mango popsicles from the popsicle molds, try running the outside of the mold under warm water to help loosen it. You can also let the popsicles sit out at room temperature for a few minutes.
- If you don't have a popsicle mold, you can also put the mango popsicle mixture in ice cube trays or small paper or plastic cups to make mini mango popsicle cubes.
- If you're not the biggest fan of mangoes, you can try swapping the mango with your favorite fruits to create a homemade popsicle you love!
- If you are making these popsicles to share with your baby that is under 1 year of age, make sure you skip the honey—it is recommended that a child not eat honey until after 1 year. Either replace it with maple syrup or omit all together.

We think silicone popsicle molds are the easiest way to make homemade popsicles, but if you don't have these there are some alternative options you can try! You can pour the mango popsicle recipe into small plastic or paper cups, into ice cube trays, or into muffin tins. Then, put aluminum foil over the top and poke a popsicle stick through it.
