Fresh Peach Crumble FAQs
We recommend storing leftovers in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator and eating within 3-4 days. It is great cold or reheated.
This recipe is not gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan. It is vegetarian.
All three are baked peach desserts, but the difference lies in the topping. A crisp typically includes oats in the topping, which gives it a crunchy texture. A crumble is very similar but traditionally does not contain oatsโthough some modern versions do, which is why the terms are often used interchangeably. A cobbler, on the other hand, has a soft, biscuit-like or cake-like topping that's spooned or dropped over the fruit before baking.
For the best texture and flavor, we recommend using fresh peachesโcanned or frozen varieties can release excess liquid and result in a softer, less vibrant crumble.
